for your commitment to improve lives. No matter what level you have given at, your gifts make a difference.
Maybe you gave to another United Way before giving to Orange County United Way. We want to know if you have given to
ANY United Way for more than 10 years.
Are there different levels within the Loyal Contributor Program?
Yes; any individual who has donated to any United Way, at any amount, from 10 years to 19 years is a Loyal Contributor.
Any individual who has donated to United Way, at any amount, 20 years or more receives special recognition.
Why should I become a recognized Loyal Contributor?
Orange County United Way would like you to recognize you as a Loyal Contributor because:
- We want to recognize your consistent commitment to your community.
- We want to thank you.
- We want to invite you to events and activities.
- We want to make sure you know how important you are to us.
What are the perks of being part of the Loyal Contributor Program?

You will also be invited as a Loyal Contributor to events where you can meet other standout leaders who have been GIVING
and LIVING UNITED to better their communities.

Why are Laura Benz and Rachid Chamtieh Loyal Contributors?

How Laura Benz Lives United Laura Benz has been a generous supporter and Loyal Contributor to United Way for more than 40 years. She is proud and honored to now be Co-Chairing the Loyal Contributors Program along with Rachid Chamtieh at Orange County United Way. Laura began her United Way giving with her first full time job at age 19 during a work place campaign. Her employer at that time was the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and she was surprised and impressed that the Federal government supported an employee campaign. She joined that campaign and every other one with every company she worked for her entire working life. |

| "I pretty much learned about giving to charity from my mom: if she couldn’t afford money then it was her time she gave. I am one of seven children and there never seemed to be enough money or time, but somehow my mom showed all us kids how it could be done pretty much on a daily basis. I thank her for her leadership as a philanthropic role model. I am blessed to have the opportunity to give to better my community. I choose to do so by continuing to LIVE and GIVE UNITED." | ||

How Rachid Chamtieh Lives United Rachid Chamtieh has been a generous supporter and Loyal Contributor to United Way for 15 years. He is proud and honored to now be Co-Chairing the Loyal Contributors Program along with Laura Benz at Orange County United Way. Rachid’s involvement with United Way started years ago as a small contributor and has evolved over the years to supplement his financial contributions with active participation in community/industry related fundraisers. "What continues to impress me about the United Way organization is the genuine passion and commitment of the professionals working there, day in and day out, and their laser-focus energy on how to best maximize the positive impact on the community - financially and socially. My involvement is fulfilling and consistent with my personal values as well as those of our firm, Deloitte. Like United Way, at Deloitte, we embrace the communities where we work and live, continuously making volunteerism and active community involvement at the core of what we do.
