Team Building Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering for community service unites people from diverse backgrounds to work toward a common goal. Here’s your chance to get involved, have fun, and make a difference. Volunteer opportunities include:
Kit Assembly
Kits Assembly
This activity can be organized at most venues/offices with specific items or materials tailored to address the particular needs of the intended beneficiaries. These kits provide essential resources that empower both adults and children within our most underserved communities.
Mural Painting
Mural Painting
Murals enrich the local community, spark the imagination of students for years to come, and serve as a daily reminder of school pride. Volunteers are not required to have painting experience–instructions and supplies will be provided.
No-Sew Blanket Assembly
No-Sew Blanket Assembly
Handmade blankets are a fun and easy way to give the gift of warmth and comfort during cold winter months and chilly summer nights. Blankets like these can make a difference for individuals in shelters, senior centers, and VA facilities.
Fitness Day
Fitness Day
Engage with Title I elementary school students in a series of fitness activities designed to teach them the importance of physical, emotional, and mental health as well as other important lifelong skills, such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Book Drive
Book Drive
Help promote early literacy for Title I elementary school students by donating new books to inspire the joy of reading and to explore the art of storytelling. Whether you donate 1 or 100 books, individually, through your organization, or with a community group, every book makes a difference in the lives of local Orange County children.
In-classroomReading (Seasonal)
In-classroom Reading (Seasonal)
