The Men of the Breakfast: Where Camaraderie Fuels Philanthropy
The Men of the Breakfast is a powerful philanthropic group, providing members with special access to unique experiences in Orange County. From one-of-a-kind car collection tours to exciting networking events, this group enables local business leaders to forge strong connections with like-minded individuals who support Orange County United Way’s work. Their collective support empowers our community’s most vulnerable families to build toward self-sufficiency.
Founded in 2011, the M.O.B. has organic roots with a few tried and true United Way supporters who regularly attend the Women’s Philanthropy Fund Breakfast. These members are staunch allies of the important work the Breakfast supports, empowering vulnerable children and families in our community.
Over the past few years, the M.O.B. has grown, becoming a catalyst for local business leaders to connect and create positive change. Members of this group get access to exciting events, such as Garages of Orange County, a recently launched series that provides incredible opportunities to see one-of-a-kind cars, meet and network with like-minded individuals who care about their community, and give back with big hearts.
Your annual investment supports local programs and services that address critical issues in our community such as poverty, housing instability, and domestic violence, while also empowering women and children to build self-sufficient lives. Areas of support include United Way’s Impact Hubs, which offer comprehensive programming in underserved communities at centralized locations enabling students and their families to easily access services, self-sufficiency programs supporting women and their families as well as efforts to end human trafficking via the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking.
Your contribution funds programming such as:
120+ well-connected philanthropists and business leaders
Garages of Orange County car collections, networking mixers & unique experiences
Give back to our community & help empower OC families
