FUNDING AND SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Investing in the visionary leaders transforming our neighborhoods.

When it comes to grant-making, Orange County United Way takes a more hands-on approach to investing in our communities. We are committed to learning from our partners and observing the progress made together.

This collective, community-based approach enables United Way to facilitate and foster community building, as well as address pressing local issues, challenges, and gaps in services. In order to maximize impact with limited resources, United Way facilitates partnerships through several avenues, such as grant agreements, service contracts, and cross-sector collaborations.

As we begin development on a new strategic, community-wide action plan for 2025-2030, Orange County United Way will continue to foster partnerships that are more impactful, whether through funding opportunities or a collective impact approach. Our goal is to remove systemic barriers that traditional grant-making enables, and we intend to apply a more equitable approach to investing in our communities.

At this time, there are no open funding opportunities available, but we do have some specialized funding and scholarship opportunities listed below.
